The MBP 200 bubble pressure tensiometer can be fitted with a range of optional accessories. With the LDU 25 liquid dosing system, automatic measurement series can be realised. The dynamic surface tension can then be determined not only as a function of the surface age, but also as a function of the surfactant concentration. Different temperature control units allow measurements to be carried out at temperatures between -15 °C and 135 °C. The MBP 200 can also be intuitively controlled with the TP 50 control panel.

The maximum bubble pressure method is used to analyse dynamic processes at the liquid surface against gas phase, such as the ambient air. It is often used to analyse surface-active substances such as surfactants or additives. Therefore, adjusting the concentration of these surface-active substances in the liquid solution is an integral part of measuring processes.
The MBP 200 bubble pressure tensiometer is compatible with the LDU 25 liquid dosing unit. In combination, automatic measurement series can be realised and the dynamic surface tension can be determined as a function of the surface age as well as the surfactant concentration.
The liquid dosing unit LDU 25 can be equipped with up to four DataPhysics Instruments syringe modules (ESr-LDU) performing independent dosing operations. This allows to dose different solutions individually.
There are two options available for dosing: The first allows for a (direct) dosing of the syringe content (SH-LDU) while the second one connects to a liquid reservoir via an additional valve (RRS 25) to refill the syringe.
For convenience, two pre-configured packages are available:

Thanks to compatible, optional temperature control units, measurements of the dynamic surface tension with the MBP 200 can be carried out at different temperatures. As the properties of surfaces are often temperature-dependent, the precise setting and control of the temperature is of central importance in many applications.
With liquid temperature control units, the sample vessel can be tempered from -10 °C to 130 °C using a refrigerated and heating liquid circulator. A Pt100 temperature sensor for the connection to the MBP 200 is integrated in each liquid temperature control unit. Liquid temperature control units are available in various sizes:

With the Peltier temperature control unit TV 50-P, the sample vessel can be tempered from -15 °C to 135 °C. It is available for sample vessels with a diameter of 50 mm. The temperature control is done by the TC-U PID controller and the temperature can be set via the MBPSoftware.

The TP 50 control panel with touchscreen and precision control wheel allows a comfortable and intuitive control of all electrical components of the MBP 200 bubble pressure tensiometer including accessories such as the LDU 25 liquid dosing unit or the thermostat. With the precision control wheel, settings can be made particularly quickly and, at the same time, with maximum accuracy.
